I approach my work with an eye for composition and the human instinct for order. I work with ephemeral materials such as rusted objects, tea bags and stains which convey the cumulative aspects of human activity through objects. Their use, dispossession, decay, and reuse serves as a resource for investigating assemblage and collective behavior over time. The compilation of repurposed objects are orchestrated into reductive forms. Imprints record collaboration with homo faber and organic materials. I also paint, draw, work in printmaking, and enjoy sharing knowledge through teaching and workshops.
